Sooo.. I have an issue.. What KIND of elastic for the bobbin are we talking about? I bought some and it was too tight.. then I bought more and it's not really doing anything.. I feel like it's super tiny and it's not going to 'shirr' it? Any suggestions?

Marguerite noted that she uses Borax against ants, silverfish, etc. I have always heard to put a line of Borax in the walls when building a house, right before putting up the interior walls. Keeps all manner of bugs out.

I am getting ready to make a batch of the dry laundry soap. I have noticed as I get older my allergies are getting much worse, and OTC cleaners really irritate my throat and causes laryngitis symptoms. I am interested to see if going a more "natural" route with cleaners helps.

Love your blog! Inspires me to dust off my sewing machine again :o) I will def be making the bib-washcloths for a few moms to be in our church; great idea, thanks! I do need to ask, on this particular entry, did you make the fabric catch all holder thingy on the wall, behind Sofie?

I got a shirt that was one size larger than I normally wear. I didn't want it to be HUGE on me, just big enough to give my belly room to expand.
