I’m thrilled to be the next stop on the Stitch’n Kitchen blog tour with Riley Blake!

I made these adorable reusable gift tags!! Made with a chalk tablecloth and a chalk pen for clear writing, they’re the most awesome way to let your loved ones know who your gift is intended for!

I even put a pocket on the back side to allow for gift cards! That makes these the perfect addition to sweet treats for the people you want to get a little something but you’re not sure what.

And this toffee is the easiest thing to make and is SO delicious!

Making these fabric gift tags is super duper easy!

I found this chalk tablecloth at Walmart for $4 a few weeks ago!! It made the perfect surface for writing names. The chalk pen was found there, too!

Cut your tag front and back, your chalkboard piece, and the tie (I’m using rick rack).

Place the chalkboard piece and place it on one side of the tag and stitch down. I chose to zigzag it on, but a straight stitch would work, too.

Place tag wrong sides together with your tie pinched between. I did a simple zigzag around the edge of the tags, but again would be possible with a straight stitch! That’s it!

For tags with the optional gift card pocket, simply cut a long piece the width of the tag and fold it wrong sides together, and sew down around the perimeter when you finish the tags.

The sea salt toffee is tops!! I love using this recipe by I Heart Naptime!

I omit all the chocolate and love to sprinkle coarse sea salt on the top instead! It’s to die for!!
