Handmade Winter January 20, 2014 – Posted in: Crafts, Reviews
I had the privilege of reviewing the gorgeous Handmade Winter eBook!
I flipped through the delicious pages, mouth-gaping at the delicious recipes, divine cocktails, and inspiring sewing and crafting tutorials.
The entire eBook is full of phenomenal photography and terrific ideas. I was inspired the second I flipped the virtual page and landed on these precious chalkboard blocks.
My oldest is in Kindergarten this year and for some reason just can’t get the hang of rhyming. I’ve struck out on all methods I’ve tried to get her to get it and I thought this might just do the trick! And by golly, it did!
Instead of doing blocks I did wooden tags I found at Hobby Lobby. They’re easier to write on since they’re flat and she’s been writing words to her heart’s content!
I made 12 of them so she has plenty to experiment with and discover more rhyming sounds.
But in true girl fashion, all she wanted to do was write her name!
Read more about this project and all the other wonderful offerings in the eBook here.

My favorite thing to save on at Target are baby items(we all know those can be expensive), and clothing for myself because every mom deserves to treat herself now and then. 🙂 Love that you are doing this giveaway!
