When Sofie was first born, I started thinking about what Christmas traditions I wanted to carry on and what I wanted to start new. I’d always loved the idea of my kids opening new jammies on Christmas Eve. Her first year, my Mom gave us a cute Carter’s “My First Christmas” outfit and she was so snuggly in it. For her second Christmas I decided I wanted to make the jammies every year! So I made a pants pattern and got busy.

When I shared them with my friends I got several, “ooh I want some, too!” responses. I ended up loving the stripes and candy cane combo and wished I had made Sof’s out of these.
