I’ve long dreamed about posting this and I’m so excited to finally share it with you! I’m actually accomplishing one of my “shoot for the stars” goals, something that seemed so impossible in my mind not too long ago. But the very late nights (or should I say early mornings!) and hours of measuring, math, and sewing have all led me to this point and I’m giddy with excitement. It’s my honor to introduce you to my very first clothing pattern–the Darling Daisy Dress.

It was born from a desire to have a dress that can easily go from maxi to knee-length, be modest and yet easy for my girls to dress themselves, and different from anything else I’ve seen. I instantly fell in love with my first attempt at the Darling Daisy and soon found I couldn’t stop sewing them!

I knew I wanted this to be my first pattern, so after many hours of preparing, I finally turned it over to my carefully selected group of testers.

The Darling Daisy is offered in 17 sizes, ranging from 3m to 16! It was such a surreal experience, seeing the dresses coming in from the testers. It was my dress on little faces I didn’t know in fabrics I hadn’t chosen. I was elated and proud and very humbled that so many wanted to try my design.

They added trims, played with fabric placement, and produced dresses more amazing than I ever could have imagined! They definitely did me proud.

The great thing is that the bodice piece is done by chest size and the skirt tiers are done by height, so you can create a custom fit for your child! The pattern includes instructions on how to alter your pieces to get a dress that fits her perfectly.

One tester even took it a step further and made it a tunic! There’s nothing special you have to do, it’s just one tier instead of 2 or 3.
