Giveaway August 6, 2010 – Posted in: Sewing
I really want to get to 50 followers. I also want to host a giveaway! So, I figured I’d combine the 2 and host a giveaway for my followers!
I whipped up this awesome cosmetic bag today—for one of YOU! I covet this Amy Butler fabric, so you know I wasn’t playing around! I also tried fusible vinyl for the first time and lined the inside with it. Oh the possibilities for this little bag! I won’t go into all the details, or give away all the good pictures, I’m saving those for the giveaway post.
All you out there who think you might want a chance to win, follow me! As soon as I hit 50 I’ll post the giveaway! All you have to do to win is be a follower, and leave a comment on that post!

I am new to your blog (followed a link on FB re your Skirt Tutorial) and have added you to my bloglines – the last 10 posts were added and as I read through them I came to the last one, a giveaway for followers! How funny is that! Love the cosmetic bag and would love it to be mine!

Thanks Robyn’s! 🙂
I’m curious to know where on FB you found a link to me!
And Atlanta Robyn, thanks! I’m glad you like it! When are we heading to Whipstitch to hang out again?! 🙂 I asked Hubby for a serger for my birthday (in October) and I can’t wait to get it!
Robyn August 06, 2010 - 11:14
anytime! especially if you get that serger, let’s get Larissa and head to a serger class! I asked about serger classes the last time I was in the store and they said the lady who teaches it is out on maternity leave. I think she is scheduled to return right around your birthday! if you/I see a Friday evening hang out session there, let’s email and meet up. I have so many projects to finish and would love to see you again! btw, where did you find the fusible vinyl?

What perfect timing! There’s one the 27th of this month. Could you do it then? 🙂 I got the vinyl at Hancock! It was something crazy like $5 a yard, I think. I’m going back with a 40% coupon! They had it on the bolt with interfacings.

it is on my calendar for the 27th, can’t wait! and {sigh}, I guess I will have to brave Hancock’s for the fusible vinyl. I wish I had a nice Hancock’s near me!

One of my friends posted a link to your Skirt tutorial in her status update on FB – glad she did! My daughter is almost 8 now but with three sons – I am all for girly sewing (make that EASY girly sewing) when I can find it and the time to find my machine!
