peek-a-boo overalls February 10, 2014 – Posted in: Sewing
This past weekend was Ollie’s First Birthday! And when Amy announced a pattern tour for her new Lullaby Layette Line, I knew I wanted to make Ollie something special for his birthday. And boy did these precious overalls deliver!
I love the look and feel of these adorable overalls! They’re roomy and comfy and he looks completely precious in them! The side tabs are probably my favorite feature, followed closely by the sweet, tiny back pocket!
This pattern was truly a fast sew. I printed my pieces in the morning and during just one nap time I was able to assemble the pattern pieces, cut them out, and sew the entire thing together! I didn’t do the snap inseam on this pair, he rarely lays still long enough for me to snap up outfits, so I figured why waste my time putting the snaps on, you know?!
I adore this little outfit so much, I made a matching bib and Ollie wore it for his birthday party!
I can’t rave enough about this sweet pattern! We love it and I see many more in our future for this summer when the days are long and hot. And I’m in total denial that this once tiny baby is now a year old! My the time is flying on me!
Make sure you head over to the blog at Peek-A-Boo Pattern shop and visit the other blogs on the pattern tour to see some more adorableness!

So cute!!! I hadn’t discovered PDF patterns when Christian turned one so I used a similar paper pattern for his overalls. However, it took me like 2 days to get it all finished! HAHA! Your pictures make me want another little boy! 🙂
