This has been a full week for me. Full of lovin’ on my girls, and trying to spend a lot of time with them. They’re growing so fast and some days I can’t help but sit around and play with them all day. They’re just so amazing!!
While Chloe napped,
I was able to fill orders and get stuff ready to mail.
I made another baby gift,
and made a birthday Elmo to mail a sweet little girl.
But it wasn’t all business around here.
Chloe had her first bites of solid food,
we enjoyed a sunset,
took in a Braves game,
and spent lots of time loving on each other.
I even got to visit a friend and her new baby in the hospital!!
I wrapped up my week by finishing a special project. Back in May and June when I made all the birthday outfits for my friends, one outfit never made it to its recipient. I felt awful. I can’t even begin to estimate the number of times I apologized but it never seemed like enough. I refunded her money and promised to remake the outfit. All these weeks have gone by and it’s still never turned up anywhere. Darn you United States Postal Service! You failed! So I remade the birthday shirt, but knew the weather would soon turn too cold for the shorts, so I included a Christmas shirt instead. It’ll never make up for the fact that the birthday boy didn’t have his outfit, and it’ll never make up for the fact that it took me so long to mail a replacement (my Mom taught me better than that) (sorry, Mom), but I hope it will at least put a smile on her face. And I hope she’ll know I always keep my word, even if it takes me 2 months to do so.
I wanted to get some pictures of a child wearing it, so I put it on Sofie.
Who was more interested in dancing with my mannequin than posing for pictures!
I’m almost done with my paid orders, then I’ll be able to catch up on the other things I’ve been dying to make! Including a pattern or two I’ll be sharing!

We got our shirts and they are beautiful!! Caleb was so excited to wear his “noopy” shirt!!! My family loved them. Can’t wait to put on his new long sleeved Christmas shirt too! Thank you Melissa, you did good! You can’t take the blame for that darned post office!!!
