If you’re anything like me, you read craft blogs and imagine the authors to have really amazing handmade things filling their homes, right? That’s so not the case for me! 95% of what I make leaves my house and I just don’t have much time left over to sew for my girls, let alone myself. I realized I needed to remedy that this last week when my makeup bag started falling apart.

It’s pretty shameful to share that this is what has been storing my makeup for the past year:

It’s got several holes in it, but nothing was falling out. Until last week when it busted down the side and I started losing pieces in my diaper bag. I’m not an everyday makeup kind of girl, so it didn’t seem like a big deal. But really? Carrying my makeup around in a ziploc bag? I had to do something about it.

So I made this baby!

And I LOVE it!! It’s the perfect size for my few pieces of makeup, and it’s easy to toss in my diaper bag and go.

Since I was making one, I thought, “Why not make 2?”

This sweet little bag is going to find a new home with one of YOU!

Lined with coordinating pink and white polka dot fabric, for that perfect girly accent.

I love the triangular shape of these bags,

and that they lay flat to store when not in use.
